Magical Product Fees “the App” provides mandatory fee options “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
View Shopify account data: This includes access to personally identifiable information about your Shopify account, including your account email addresses, phone numbers, and locations. This permission is required to manage and support your subscription.
Read inventory: This includes access to your store’s inventory data. This permission is required to ensure fees are accurately calculated based on product availability.
Read locations: This includes access to your store locations. This permission is required to manage fees across your locations.
Read themes: This includes theme information. This permission is required to read theme content that will be used by the app.
Write cart transforms: This includes the ability to add Shopify Function Cart Transforms to your store. This permission is required to update items in the cart.
Write metaobject definitions and metaobjects: This includes the ability to create, edit, and delete custom data structures (metaobjects). This permission is required to store and manage additional fee rules and configurations.
Write orders: This includes the ability to modify order details. This permission is required to remove additional information added by the app to orders that is not required after checkout.
Write products: This includes products and collections information. This permission is required to add, edit, and delete the fee products and collections that will be used by the app.
Write publications: This includes the ability to manage where products are published. This permission is required to ensure that fee products are properly available across all relevant sales channels.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect from you in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
Sharing Your Personal Information
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Your Rights
